Terms of Service

By accessing or using LinkCarib ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and merchants.

LinkCarib is a digital marketplace that connects buyers, sellers, and businesses across the Caribbean. We provide tools to post classified listings, create business storefronts, message other users, and manage merchant subscriptions. We are a platform that facilitates connections — we are not a party to any transaction between users.

You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use LinkCarib.

You are solely responsible for the content you post, including listings, images, messages, and reviews. You agree not to post content that is illegal, misleading, fraudulent, infringes intellectual property, or violates these terms. We may remove any content or listing at our discretion. Visitor listings expire after 24 hours; merchant listings remain active for the duration of a paid subscription.

You may not list weapons, illegal drugs, counterfeit goods, stolen items, regulated financial products, or any item prohibited by Jamaican or applicable law. Listings violating this rule will be removed and the account may be suspended.

Transactions happen directly between users. LinkCarib does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, nor the ability of any party to complete a transaction. We strongly recommend meeting in public places, inspecting items before paying, and never paying in advance. Business verification indicates that documents were reviewed — it does not guarantee a safe transaction.

Merchants may subscribe to paid plans to access storefront features. Subscription fees are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice; existing subscriptions continue at the agreed rate until renewal.

Merchants submit government ID and business registration documents for verification. Approval means documents were reviewed and does not constitute an endorsement. We may revoke verified status at any time if information is found to be false.

Users may leave reviews on sellers. Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or unrelated to a real transaction.

Your use of LinkCarib is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy-policy.

LinkCarib is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, losses, or disputes arising from your use of the platform or interactions with other users.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will post the revised version here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
